🍴Ingredient Notes
- Frozen Strawberries - I love using frozen fruit in smoothies because you don't have to add any ice! I also love that it's a budget friendly way to purchase organic berries. (I found mine at Costco!)
- Ripe Banana - I would recommend a fresh, ripe banana so the smoothie blends easier. If you only have frozen banana slices, that will work too! Especially if you like a thicker smoothie.
- Water - Use less or more as needed. You can also swap for unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk, or any non-dairy milk.
- Creamy Peanut Butter - I use peanut butter with no added ingredients - just roasted peanuts! The brand "Teddi's" is one of my favorites! You can also swap for almond butter, cashew butter, or Sunbutter!
Optional Ingredients
- Add a scoop of collagen protein or protein powder.
- Add one tablespoon of maple syrup for a sweeter smoothie.
- For extra fiber, add in a tablespoon of flax or chia seeds.

Expert Tips

- Make sure you're using ripe bananas as they add the natural sweetness to this smoothie recipe.
- If you don't have frozen strawberries, use fresh strawberries and swap for frozen bananas!
- Add an extra drizzle of peanut butter to the inside of the cup for a fun touch!
- Freeze leftover smoothie in silicone ice cube trays to use for later!
- Use a high-speed blender for this recipe. If you only have a food processor on hand, you can use that too!
How to store leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight mason jar cup with lid for up to 4 days.
To freeze, add smoothie into a freezer-safe container and store in the freezer for up to two months.
You can also store leftover smoothie in an ice cube tray. Freeze until you're ready to blend! Just add water or dairy-free milk with the smoothie cubes.
