Why You'll Love This Recipe
This Easy Pumpkin Pie Dip is the perfect recipe for pumpkin season! Although I love making pumpkin spice donuts, pumpkin cookies, and pumpkin bread, sometimes I want something simple and easy to satisfy my pumpkin craving.
This delicious dip is a great recipe for when you're short on time! It takes about 5 minutes to make, and you only need a few simple ingredients like coconut yogurt, almond butter, and pumpkin puree.
It has a similar flavor to pumpkin pie filling but with much less sugar and no baking required. And the best part is, it's great for anyone with food restrictions!
This sweet dip is gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar free, and can easily be made vegan by swapping the honey for maple syrup.
🍴Ingredient Notes
- Vanilla Coconut Yogurt - Any unsweetened vanilla yogurt will work!
- Pumpkin Puree - I used organic canned pumpkin puree to save time, but you can also use homemade pumpkin puree! (Make sure it's pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie filling.)
- Almond Butter - You can swap for peanut butter, Sunbutter, or cashew butter.
- Honey - I prefer using raw honey because of the health benefits, but maple syrup will work too!
- Vanilla Extract - This gives the dip a rich flavor!
- Spices - Pumpkin Pie Spice & Cinnamon are the perfect mixture to give this dip a delicious pumpkin pie flavor.
Recipe Variations
- To give this healthy pumpkin dip boost of protein try adding in 1-2 scoops of vanilla protein powder or swap the coconut yogurt for Greek yogurt. (If you're not dairy-free.)
- Stir in white chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips. I love Hu Kitchen & Pascha because they're dairy-free & soy-free.
- Use a sweetened vanilla coconut yogurt if you would like this dip extra sweet!

- Use a hand mixer instead of a whisk to get a super creamy and smooth consistency.
Frequently Asked Questions
Apple slices, cinnamon and sugar chips, or graham crackers are all great options! (I love Simple Mills Sweet Thins for a Paleo & Gluten-Free option.) You can serve a variety to make a snacking board.
Yes! I would actually suggest making it the day before or the morning of. It needs at least 1 hour to set before serving, but the longer it sits, the better!
I suggest trying my Pumpkin Protein Shake, Pumpkin Protein Bars, or Pumpkin Spice Creamer!
You can, but I would not suggest serving it as a dip because after defrosting it will not be as creamy. Freeze in an ice cube tray and use in vanilla or pumpkin flavored smoothies!
How to store leftovers
Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. You can also top the serving bowl with plastic wrap or a reusable stretch lid!
