    Why I love this recipe

You are going to love the soft and gooey texture of these Air Fryer Bananas! Just cut, stuff, and air fry for a few minutes!

They're a healthier option for a quick snack or dessert. Great for anyone who is gluten-free or dairy-free!

    🍴Ingredient Notes

    Ingredients for air fried bananas.
    • Ripe Bananas - For best results, you must use ripe bananas! The riper they are, the sweeter they will be.
    • Cashew Butter - Or any nut/seed butter you have on hand!
    • Dark Chocolate - I used a Hu Kitchen dark chocolate bar. Any chocolate will work with this recipe!

    🍴Step by Step Instructions

    Step 1: Prepping Banana

Start by cutting down the center of each banana. (Through the peel.) Gently open it up so there is space to add the toppings.

    Step 2: Stuffing Bananas

Spread the cashew butter and sprinkle on dark chocolate - or any other toppings you'd like!

    Step 3: Air Frying Bananas

Place in your air fryer and cook for 5-10 minutes at 375°. Serve hot!

    Expert Tips

    • Pre-heat air fryer before adding in the bananas.
    • For best results, use ripe bananas for this recipe.
    • If you don't have an air fryer, you can try broiling the bananas on low for a few minutes.
    • Do not over stuff the bananas! They will spill and make a mess in your air fryer.
    • Prep the bananas ahead of time if you're making them for a large group. Air fry right before you plan to serve.

    Topping Ideas

    • Coconut Whipped Cream - To make your own, follow the directions in this post.
    • Ice Cream - Make them into a banana split by topping the hot bananas with dairy-free ice cream! You could even make nice cream.
    • Sprinkles - I found these naturally colored sprinkles at Whole Foods! But I also love Supernatural Sprinkles.
    • Mini Marshmallows - Smashmallow is my favorite healthier brand!
    • Fresh Fruit - Strawberries, blueberries, or anything you have on hand!

    How to store leftovers

I would recommend air frying as needed! They're best served hot out of the air fryer.

If you have leftovers, scoop it out of the peel and put them in an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator! To reheat, place in the microwave for 30-60 seconds.
