Why I love this recipe!

Healthy Baked Apple Cinnamon Slices taste like apple pie but without the crust!  You only need a few simple ingredients, and about 15 minutes of prep time.  They're an incredibly easy dessert to make, and they will leave your kitchen smelling amazing!

Ingredients

– 8 Cups Apple Slices - I used Honeycrisp, but any baking apple will work for this recipe. – ¼ Cup Water – 1 Tablespoon Tapioca Flour – 1 + ½ Teaspoons Cinnamon - I use Ceylon Cinnamon. – ¼ Teaspoon Salt

Preparing Apples

Add the apples into a large mixing bowl along with the water, cinnamon, tapioca flour, and salt. Stir until they're evenly coated.

Preparing to Bake

Next, pour the apple slices into a medium sized casserole dish.

Baking Apples

Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven to stir, and place back in the oven for 5-10 minutes. (They should still be firm.)

Serving Baked Apples

Remove from the oven and serve hot with your favorite dairy-free ice cream or coconut whipped cream!
