Start by adding ground beef, spices, egg, and onion into a bowl. Blend until fully combined - it's important not to over mix.
Roll the burger mixture into four large balls, then gently flatten them out to the thickness you want. It should make about 4-5 patties depending on how big you want them.
Add one burger at a time to your pre-heated pan. Let them cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side. (5 minutes on each side will make a medium/well done burger.)
– When the burgers are cooking, try not to touch them! Place them directly on the heated pan, set the timer, flip, and set the timer again. You should only touch them when you flip them over! – Don't cut open the burgers when they're done cooking. If you open them up, you'll release all the juices! (No one wants a dry burger!)
