Why I love this recipe!

Not only is this recipe decadent and delicious, it's also great for gut health!  For an extra thick milkshake consistency, I added frozen green bananas. Green bananas are high in resistant starch which your gut bacteria love!

– 2 Cups Frozen Bananas - Green bananas work best with this recipe. – 13.5 Ounces Full Fat Coconut Milk – ¾ Cup Brewed Coffee - Coffee must be chilled! – 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Preparing Milkshake

Add full fat coconut milk, brewed coffee, frozen bananas, and vanilla extract into a high-speed blender.

Blending

Blend on high until it's a smooth and creamy consistency.

Serving

Pour into three cups and top with a dusting of cacao powder!

Expert Tips

– Serve with frozen coffee cubes for an extra kick of caffeine! – Add fresh coconut whipped cream on top of each milkshake. You can find an easy recipe in this post! – Pour coconut milk and brewed coffee into the blender first for easy blending! – Make sure the coconut milk has been chilled for at least 1 hour. – Add 2-3 shots of espresso to give your milkshake an extra kick!
