Cherry Filling – 1+½ Cups Cherries You can use fresh or frozen! – 2 Tablespoons Honey – ¼ Teaspoon Salt Chocolate Layer – 1+½ Cups Dark Chocolate – 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil

Pit Cherries

Start by pitting cherries then place them on a cutting board.

Chop Cherries

Next, roughly chop the cherries.

Simmer Cherries

Add the chopped cherries, honey, and salt into a small skillet. Let simmer for 20 minutes covered. (Stirring occasionally.)

Cooling

Once the cherries are done cooking, set aside to cool.

Melt Chocolate

Next, add the chocolate chips and coconut oil into a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 20 second increments until the chocolate is smooth.

Fill Candy Molds

Add a small amount of chocolate into each candy mold followed by cherry filling. Top each candy mold with more chocolate. Freeze the candies for 4-6 hours.

Pop Out of Mold

Once they have set, pop them out and top with an extra drizzle of chocolate and flaky sea salt. Place in an airtight container until you're ready to serve!

Helpful Tips

– If you don't have a silicone candy mold, you can also use mini muffin liners! (Make sure they're non-stick.) – Let the candy set for at least 4 hours so they do not fall apart when you try removing them from the mold. – If you use frozen cherries, let them defrost for a bit so it's easier to chop. (And drain any excess water.)
