These Savory Stuffed Dates with Bacon and Jalapeno are sure to be a hit at your next party! They're ready in about 30 minutes, and you only need THREE ingredients. The perfect appetizer that has a little sweet, a little salty, and a kick of spice!
2Jalapeño Peppers, cut into bite size stripsRemove the seeds.
Instructions
Start by removing the pit from the dates.
Next, cut each slice of bacon in half and set aside.
Finally, cut jalapeño peppers into small thin strips.
To assemble, add a strip of jalapeño inside each date, and wrap the date with a strip of bacon. Use a toothpick to secure. Repeat!
Add the wrapped dates to a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. (Broil 1-2 minutes for extra crispy bacon.)
Serve hot - enjoy!

Helpful Tips
Stick the toothpick straight through the date to secure the bacon!
If you like less bacon, cut the strips into thirds. If you like more bacon, cut the strips in half.
Re-heat the dates in the air fryer for extra crispy bacon!
Place the cooked dates on a paper towellined plate so absorb any excess oil.
If you like an extra kick of spice use two strips of jalapeño in each date.
Best served fresh out of the oven! Do not bake/air fry the dates until you're ready to serve.
How to store leftovers
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. To re-heat, bake for a few minutes at 350 degrees, or broil for 1-2 minutes on low! You can also air fry them at 375 degrees for 1-2 minutes.** See full post for more information and step by step photos!
