Ingredients
1PoundGround Chicken
½CupFinely Diced Bell Pepper
¼CupFinely Diced Sweet Onion
1TablespoonOlive Oil
1TeaspoonSalt
½TeaspoonCayenne Pepper
½TeaspoonGarlic Powder
Instructions
Start by adding all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Stir together until ingredients are fully combined.
Next, split the chicken mixture into five large balls. Place the balls on a parchment paper lined plate or baking sheet. Press down into chicken patties.
Spray the frying pan with a nonstick cooking spray or your preferred cooking oil. Place each chicken burger on the preheated pan. Cook for 5-6 minutes on medium high heat.
Finally, flip the chicken burgers and cover the pan. Cook for an additional 8-10 minutes. (Or until the center is cooked through.)

Expert Tips
I used a large frying pan to cook these burgers, but I also love using my cast iron skillet!
You can also cook chicken burgers on an indoor or outdoor grill.
Mix all ingredients the night before to allow the flavors to marinate longer! This also saves on prep time the next day.
Use this recipe for meal prepping! Serve the burgers throughout the week for quick lunches.
If you don't have kitchen safe gloves, coat the palm of your hands with oil to prevent the meat from sticking to your hands when making the burger patties.
You can store leftover chicken burgers in an airtight container. (I prefer glass containers.) They will stay fresh for about 4-5 days in the refrigerator.Chicken burgers can also be stored in the freezer! Place in an airtight bag or container.
