Dark Chocolate Cherry Cups are the perfect bite sized treat for Valentine's Day or any special occasion! They have a delicious soft and gooey cherry center that's naturally sweetened with honey.
Start by pitting cherries then place them on a cutting board.
Next, roughly chop the cherries.
Add the chopped cherries, honey, and salt into a small skillet. Let simmer for 20 minutes covered. (Stirring occasionally.) Once it's done cooking, set aside to cool.
Filling the Candy Molds
Next, add the chocolate chips and coconut oil into a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 20 second increments until the chocolate is smooth.
Add a small amount of chocolate into each candy mold followed by cherry filling. Top each candy mold with more chocolate. Freeze the candies for 4-6 hours.
Once they have set, pop them out and place in an airtight container until you're ready to serve!
